Hello fellow cysters! I am new to the board, my name is April, wife to Mike & sahm to Makayla who is 5 & Andon who is just about to turn 1 in a few days. I was dx'd with PCOS in 2000, it has been an up & down battle since. I started out on 500mgs of Met and I'm now maxed to my dosage of 2000mgs. I got pregnant with my daughter within 6 months of being on Met. It was a very hard & difficult pregnancy, I ended up with pre-eclampsia & HELLP Syndrome she was born at 36 weeks weighing a mere 3 lbs. She is doing great now, 5 years old ..has some allergy issues & just had an emergency T&A (tonsil & adenoid removal). I got pregnant with my son 4 years later after only trying a few months, no problems with him except gestational diabetes, he was born at a whoopin 8 lbs. I took Met for 1/2 of my pregnancies with both children.
I lost a total of 70 lbs before I had my daughter, I have put nearly all that back on ..so I need to get motivated again to lose weight. My periods are also back to hit & miss, I just recently took a PG test and it was negative. I may have to take another one in a few weeks to be sure.
