Hi all!

I'm married to a wonderful dh and we've been ttc for 8 months now and I was recently diagnosed with pcos from an ultrasound.

My doctor has been checking my temperature chart and said I was ovulating every other month. I have an appt Monday and he's starting me on medicine; one is Metformin and the other Femara. He's also going to give me Provera to start my cycle so I can have an HSG done.

I'm getting excited about all of this because we're finally getting somewhere.

Just wanted to say hello and I hope to get to know u guys around the forum!

It sounds like you're well on your way. Best of luck to you as your journey begins. I won't always be easy and in fact, although I hate to say it, It seems like it gets worse before it gets better. Hang in there and never loss hope of being a mommy someday. I'm hoping it's real soon for you and DH.

Thanks Sweetheb! Your advice is great. I'm gonna continue to stay positive thru the whole process and focus on holding my baby girl in my arms in the near future. I will definitely PM u for advice and questions

I am also new here. I have been married for 15 years and we have been TTC for a long time. I was just diagnosed and started Clomid 50mg. I am on my 3rd night of meds and really hoping it works for us. Good luck to everyone!!!

Welcome Jennifer! Best of luck to you. I don't want to burst your bubble but don't give up hope if this round of Clomid doesn't work for you. 50mg is VERY slow for a "cyster." As you can see in my siggy 150mg didn't work for me. I didn't even produce 1 follie so best of luck to you. Ask lots and lots of questions.
