Exclamation Help!!!!!

Does anyone know of a med called Luxpro? I think this is the name, or maybe something similar. My psych. wants to start me on it after I get my lab results back. I just want to do some research on it before I take it.

TIA!!!

Nicole

I think that you me Lexapro. It is a relative of Celexa. If you do a search online (like google or askjeeves you should be able to find more information about it. Also try searching the posts on this site for more info or stories of people who may have taken it (use the search post button in the pcos toolbar part). Hope this helps

I took Lexapro for over a year. I have tried many, and by far, that was the best for me. All of the sudden, I started having a really hard time, and I went in to have it increased, but i was on the max dose, so they switched me to celexa 40mgs (being they are cousins and the Lexapro did so much for me), and things seemed managable for me. My doc said that although there is nothing proven that the effects can wear off or you build up a tolerance down the road, she sees it often. It was definatly a life saver for me, I hope it works as well for you!
