I have just came back from the doctor today, and well I feel kinda depressed, I have had my period for the past 2 1/2 months, after being on the birth control pill and being on the meds. so they switch my birth control pill, and it efects me really bad, my heart starts racing, and I became mental, I could not decide what I was thinking wanted to cry all the time. So I finally went off.
Well I went in today and well nothing has changed my insulin level is still up like a lot, and well i guess what i was wondering, has anyone had any succsess with living a normal, life or like their medication actually working?
ohhhhhhh poor baby i am so sorry u have to go thru this

god bless

I am praying my doctor will put me on something different when I go to see her next month. I have been on Yasmin since I was diagnosed and I have days like you described in your post. Last night as one of them, I didn't want to go out and do anything so I just sat home and I cried and on and off all night. That certainly isn't normal, I know it's not normal. I am hoping my doctor will give me something to help. I will let you know what my doctor tells me.
I hope things start looking up for you. If you need to talk, feel free to PM me ANYTIME!

Ya'll are so nice!! I feel a lot better this week, but I still struggle some with wondering if my medication is actually going to work.
But I just wanted to say thanks!!
I have had PCOS for about 6 years, and the best medications that have worked for me are metformin and a menapause drug called lupron, they both have done wonders for me, but the best advice that I can give you is to talk to your doctor and tell him/her what you have been feeling and see if there is anything that he/she can give you to feel better.
