How do I get the emails to stop coming? I only check my emails every other day or so and my mailbox is full of these emails I have even stopped visiting as much in hopes to reduce them what can I do to make them stop coming? Please help.

If you go to control panel and edit options ( i assume you mean the emails that tell you a thread has been updated?) scroll down on here and go to Default thread subscription mode, you can choose do not describe. Hope that helps

Yeah, don't stop coming because of that. It can be fixed !!

I did that but some still coming. I am not so good at internet stuff. Thank you for your help. i really like this site it helps me get through the day sometimes.

If you've already unsubscribed, and they still keep coming, just add a filter in your inbox to send them straight to your 'trash' bin.

Did you select "No email notification" instead of "Do Not Subscribe"? If not, try that instead.

Click on "User CP"
On the left hand side of the screen, click on "Edit Options"
Scroll down to the Messaging and Notification Section
Then go to Default Thread Subscription Mode
Select "No email notification" from the drop down box
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Save Changes"

Make sure you do this! I had the same problem when I joined and I was getting flooded with emails. Then I finally figured it out, and now I don't get them anymore and I post/talk a lot...lol! So it can be fixed
