Default help!

hey guys. Here I am again with a new problem. I've been on metformin for 2 weeks. Yesterday, I started feeling really nauseous with a little diarrhea today. (I think that's because I had a burger and fries today) I'm supposed to eat 6 times a day. How do i do this if i feel sick? Is this normal for being on this medication? Help me handle this crazy thing!

Honey, I just took my pills in the middle of a meal, and avoided too much junk food. Are you taking the pills with food? That is the number one thing that helped me. But if I ever did get yucky tummy, sipping on diet ginger ale did help me. Good luck!

Thanks! Yes I am taking it with food. I didn't think about diet ginger ale. I'll see if i can find some of that. Thanks a lot. I'm doing a little better today. I think the burger and fries did it.

I cannot stomach red meat while on met. It makes me feel lousy for a while with many trips to the bathroom. You need to stick to a non-fatty/non-greasy/non-sugary diet and you'll feel fine
