My first advice for you, though I know it will be difficult is to calm down. Stress can only cause your blood sugar to be higher. The next advice I have for you is to modify the amount of total sugar and carbs you eat in one day.(Carbs break down in the system as sugar and will cause your blood sugar to jump up.)
Has your dr put you on any meds yet? If not, you will have to make do with a change in diet. You should also monitor your blood sugar at home to see what particular foods are the worse offenders at making your blood sugar rise at a high rate. Some examples are : pizza, pop, and fruit juices such as orange juice.
I personally gave up all refined (white sugar) which means getting off the pop, and no more chocolate that isn't sugar free. I use the diabetic diet plan which reduces the amounts of carbs I am allowed in one day while intermixing the proper blend of fruit and veggies, and protein(meat) and fats.
I can't believe your dr didn't suggest to you a good dietary plan. And if the dr hasn't put you on at least glucaphage or some other meds, then I would really talk to the dr about taking some kind of medicine. With your blood sugar at this level, it will be difficult to lower with just diet alone.
