Unhappy Help-done all the right things and still major problems

Dear Cysters

I need some help. (Kat are you out there?) I have been having what look like PCOS symptoms for many years. However most endos that I have seen have suggested the I have idiopathic hypoandrogenism. Nonetheless I have been on spiro, met, and in the last 18 months finasteride and I have lost all my excess weight. I am still working on another few kilos but over the last 4 years I have lost 20. Thing is none of my symptoms are really getting better. I've always had a regular period although the spiro makes it come every 23-26 days. I've got mild hirsuitism, which has actually gotten worse since I lost weight. I've did have skin tags but most of them have abated or been removed. I had acanthosis between the thighs which has also gotten worse since I've lost weight and stayed completely off carby things. The chief problem is I am seriously going bald. I have patches everywhere. All my androgen levels are still coming back high despite the weight loss. I am frankly thinking that perhaps I should try to get a differential diagnosis looked at, and that maybe I really have an adrenal/cortisol problem which can do similar things to PCOS. Please help.
