Help!!! FLAT, DULL skin- Anyone have a magic cure for lusterless skin???

Girls, someone PLEASE help. Acne is a pain but I am able to keep the worst at bay through diet. But I cannot, even when my skin is clear, obtain that lovely glowing complection anymore. I think the flat skin tone is aging me. The strange thing is I also struggle with being oily so how one can be "shiny" and "dull" at the same time is a mystery, I just know that is what I see in the mirror. I put off having our family pictures because I just look " off " and compared to others in photos I think I almost look, sickly.

Do others have this problem and what is working for you ? How's a girl supposed to feel pretty when she needs to?!

p.s I use awesome skin care products religiously, twice a day. Most are from Mary Kay and I love them. My skin is soft and acne is not a HUGE problem. But even my microderm abrasion doesn't help, though my skin feels very nice aftarwards.

Jade-

I thought I was the only one with this problem. First you fight the acne and then you're left with some weird looking skin complexion..no glow...nothing.

I have an appointment to see a dermatologist next week to figure out what's wrong. I will report here when I get that info. In the meantime, have you tried anything?
