Help with herbs, please.

Hello all, I am interested in starting ttc all natural with the exception of still taking Met and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have been off Clomid since Aug/03 and I had a Lap. done in November. Dr. found some scar tissue which was removed but overall said my tubes and uterus were perfect with the exception of the PCOS. Since stopping Clomid I have been having regular AF usually every 45-50 days, lasting 3-5 days. I found a product online made by "The Makers of Greens+". It is called PMS. It is suppose to help balance hormones I guess. Here is a list of the ingredients:

Each 2 Capsules contains:

Chaste Tree Berry (0.5% Agnuside) 184 mg
Burdock Root 138 mg
Black Haw 138 mg
Alfalfa 138 mg
Red Clover (8% Isoflavones) 125 mg
Ginkgo Biloba 92 mg
Black Cohosh (2.5% Triterpene Glycosides) 108 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Maltodextrin, Magnesium Stearate and Silicon Dioxide. Plus Gelatin, Glycerin and Water.

Does anyone know if this sounds like a good combination? Do you think it will help? Any recommendations on what else I could try? I am so confused. Thanks to anyone who can offer some insight.

Hi Dena,

I too have been trying out the herbal route and have been researching all kinds of different herbs. According to the book Getting Pregnant by Niels H. Lauersen, MD PhD Ginkgo Biloba can be harmful to fertility. It appears to cause eggs to degenerate & affects the ability of sperm to penetrate the shell. Hope this helps. Lots of luck to you
