I had horrible nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting on Metformin. I mean, it was literally so awful that I wanted to die, no joke. I took myself off it without even telling my doctor. I started exercising vigilantly instead (and eating better) and it brought my insulin to normal levels. NEVER again would I go on Metformin.

As for the Clomid, it most definitely can cause all the other symptoms you mentioned. A lot of women get hot flashes and headaches in particular.
So yes, I would say your symptoms are from all the medications. Definitely talk to your doc in case he/she can prescribe meds that would be gentler (ie Femara instead of Clomid).

I agree with theOceanicSix. I was on Metformin and Clomid and I also had nausea, diarrhea and vomiting. I talk to my doctor and she lowered my dosage.
On Clomid I had bad hot flashes and headaches. Ugg the hot flashes. Talk to your doctor and find out what other options you have.

I was just like OceanicSix! That Metformin was awful! I also took myself off. They just tried to put me on it again with my injectables and I refused. There is nothing wrong with my blood sugar level and the way I see it, if it is making me that sick...that is my body's way of telling me it's no good.

Clomid - Hot flashes, moodiness, bad headaches (I get sinus headaches alot and these were way worse). I also struggled with depression while on Clomid. They actually put me on a very mild antidepressant when I finally broke down in the office on yet another cancelled cycle. It is nasty stuff so just hang in there!

Clomid did the EXACT same thing to me. Provera didnt do anything to me except maybe a little dizziness, but not often enough to even complain about. Ive never been on Met so IDK about that, but the Clomid for sure increased my symptoms through my whole cycle. Its like its an "exaggerator" if you will... LOL.... anything I felt tripled in intensity through the whole cycle. Some women only feel it while taking the pills, others it only lasts until they ovulate, others only feel after they O, and some feel it the whole time. Clomid is know for that.

yes clomid and met can do that, I had all the same symptom U have,, hot flashes , headaches, slight abdomial cramping, very tired and extremely moody. Now im taking Femara and I ovulated so much sooner and had no side effects but tired so i took them at night. I LOVE Femara Compared to Clomid.
Good Luck and tons of Baby dust

I was only on Clomid (with trigger shot) and had all the same symptoms as you, except the vomiting. The hot flashes were horrible! I slept on a towel - nakid! I threw my checkbook at my husband because he asked a stupid question! Talk about moody!! And he's my best friend and we never fight. I told him he better sleep with one eye open!!

Clomid is the devil in disguise! I hated being on it. I had all the symptoms you do plus some, I was soooo mean and hateful on it. I've never been on met before so I don't know about that. But, as for Clomid I will NEVER be on it again! So, yes it's probably the meds, oh, I was on Provera. I didn't have any side effects from that though. Hopefully it will get better, hang in there!
