Hi ladies,

I took the medicine to induce the miscarriage last Friday. I went for an u/s the following Monday and RE said that the baby was gone but that I still "had a lot of lining." Well, today is day 9 and I am still bleeding heavily! The clots have finally stopped but there is still a lot of bright red blood. Is this normal?

I have one more question - for those of you who took the meds to induce the miscarriage, how long after did it take for you to have a period? I would assume I am on CD 9 now but I would think all of this bleeding is totally throwing my cycle off.

I took Misoprostol On 2-10, and have had bleeding since, today I have more of a orangy dicharge, my doctor said sometimes you can bleed up to 2-3 weeks. As long as you are not bleeding through a pad in one hour it is normal, if you are bleeding more, then you need to go to E.R.

As far as your cycle and everything I am not too sure and was wondering the same??

Thank you, Merc! It looks like we're practically going to be on the same cycles when we try again. My RE told me to wait one month before trying again. What did your RE say?
