Thumbs down Help, I'm starving!

I restarted Met two days ago. I'm only on 500 mg right now (I'll up it to 1000 next week, then a few weeks later to 1500).

I am starving. I eat all day long - healthy snacks, healthy meals...and I'm still so hungry that my head hurts and my tummy twists around.

How the hell am I supposed to lose weight when I'm eating constantly???

I've had the same problem since I started Glumetza last week. I'm on
1000mgs. Hopefully this will get better for both of us soon

I was the same way when I first started Met two weeks ago. When I was on 500mg I ate a lot. Then when I started 1000mg it made me feel a little sick, so I ate a little less and now that I'm on 1500mg I have no appetite at all. I was feeling so sick yesterday that I couldn't bring myself to eat anything, but when I finally did my nausea went away.

I would wait until you've got your dosage where you're going to have it to worry.

Also, MAKE SURE to eat low carb and healthy, because when I eat junk I'm super sick and it sucks so bad.

Good luck!

I just restarted it too, and I've felt the same type of thing. I finished dinner last night and wasn't full at all and was dying searching for food all over just a snack or something. Normally I don't eat a whole lot except around AF i'm a bottomless pit.
I didn't even think that it could be Met

When I'm on it though, I'm extremely scared to eat anything in fear it will send me running to the bathroom at least it scares me out of eating

I totally agree! I was eating everything in sight on 500 mg, but as soon as I went up to 1000, the cravings subsided. I'm working up to 1500 next week and I'm sure it will only get better. I have switched to met ER and that has helped so well! It is true though, the higher dose I get, the more I can't handel sweets.
What if you were to eat protien based meals between 200-250 cal meals about every 2-3 hours? 7, 10, 12, 3, 6, 8...etc? That would fire up your metabolism and help ward off hunger.
