Unhappy Help-I need some direction.

I have been dx'd with PCOS 06.07. This is almost a year with a dx and I am not doing any better. I am recently taking Metformin, and several other drugs to help. Nothing seems to be working. I need to lose weight and get my life back. I have seen many post about diet-low carbs. Does this work? I have been on the low carbs before and it is just very difficult to stay on this. I am desperate and depressed. Just recently added an anti-depressant to the list of meds yesterday b/c I can't stop crying. I am severly depressed and I have this overwhelming sense of " I can't do it anymore". I am hoping the anti-depressant will help. Can anyone help point me in the right direction ?

Many cysters have success on Low Carb diets, but it's important to still have a balance within the program (try to rely on whole foods, not low carb 'packaged' food...)

Has low carb worked for anyone else?
