Default Help. I need some encouragement

I've been on Met since last Wednesday. I feel so sick. I had the worst diarrhea the first few days. It was so bad I had to leave work Friday. I took imodium ad on Saturday which made the diarrhea better, but I got nauseated. I stayed in bed all day Saturday & Sunday b/c I just did not have the energy to do anything else. I have been low carbing, but I think it's making me worse. I am on 1000mgs, 500 in the morning and 500 at night. I am also taking a multivitamin which has B12 and calcium. Also my legs are achy and my chest feels sore. I want to get better, but I don't know if I can continue to feel like this. Please help.

Sorry to hear you're so sick... I've been on Met for about 3 months and still have some s/e But it's kind of under control... I know if I drink any wine, which has only been about 3 times, then I have horrible diareaha the next morning. So please stick it out as long as you can... some women just can't handle Met, hope it gets better !

Thanks so much. I'm trying really hard to hang in there. I lowered my dose today. Hopefully that helps.

Lowering your dose should help... but you may go thru the same "adjustment" period if you up it again... IMO might as well get it done and over with! lol

You'll make it!!!!!!
