Help, I ran out of Wellbutrin...alternatives?

I switched from my local pharmacy to my insurance's mail order program since it saved me a ton of money (basically same price for 90 days as for 30 days at the pharmacy). It shipped Tuesday so I am hoping I get it today, but I ran out on Tuesday. I thought i had some old ones so i didn't ask for it to be overnighted or anything, but I can't find my older ones (i used to be on a lower dose but they upped it over a year ago so i doubt they'd be good anyway, i must have tossed them).

Today was my 2nd day without it and I could barely get out of bed. I am struggling to stay awake and focused at work. I tried taking some 5 HTP, but that is not helping.

Ugh, if it doesn't come in today I may have to call in sick to work tomorrow.

Any suggestions?

Call your prescribing doctor and tell them what is happening. They may have a suggestion, even if it's a prescription for a weeks supply to be filled at your local pharamcy.

i was gonna say the same thing as pp, call the pharmacy and see if you can just get like a week supply or something? or maybe your dr can give you some samples or something? like write you another emergency script? i take wellbutrin the generic sr kind. how much do you take? i am 'supposed' to take 150 mg 2x a day but here lately im doing good if i take one. it takes a week or two to catch up with me when i stop or reduce, but it's total hell. i have bad depression and get those bad thoughts that go over and over!

hope you can get something though! i know it's bad to be without it!
