Default Help!! Lol

I went off BC in Jan and had no period until July when I was given provera tp bring on a cycle and then clomid to help me ovulate. I am also on 1000mg of metformin as well.
I started my period on July 7th and took my first clomid pill on July 11th (days 5-9). I am not sure if I ovulated because I did not chart...dumb me and I never had EWCM, only creamy. Today is CD 26 and I still dont know if I ovulated. For the past week I have had on and off cramping but no sore boobs or anything else. I took a pregnancy test on Tues morning and today...both negative.
Now I have some questions...
1. Could I have tested too early?
2. How will I know if I ovulated?
3. If I never get my period unless on BC or now provera, will I get a period after taking the clomid?

If I dont get pregnant this time...which I think wont happen, I will chart next month.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

If you ovulate, it will bring on your period. When I was on Clomid, my doctor told me to wait about a week or two after my period is due, and if I didn't start then we would do the prometrium again to bring on AF and start the process over. I went in every month on cd21 so my doctor could do bloodwork to see if I ovulated, and every time I did. The last month I didn't go to the doctor because I was out of town, so I didn't know if I ovulated or not..but I got a BFP on cd 29 so apparently something worked!

You can also ovulate late, which is why my doctor said to wait a couple weeks before taking something to bring on AF again. WHat mg of clomid are you on? If you don't ovulate this month, you might just need to up the dosage next month.

CONGRATS on your BFP!!

I am on 50mg as this is my first round. We are TTC #2 which I just knew was not going to be easy. #1 was a pleasant surprise for my DH and I since I didnt think I could have kids seeing as I have PCOS, and very irregular periods.

Kim--I also don't get regular periods at all, which makes it hard sometimes to tell what our bodies are going to do (like on what day will we ovulate on clomid, since we don't really have any reference to go by).
1. Yes, I think you could have tested too early. Do you think you ovulated? Like had any pinching in the area or anything at any point?
2. Not everyone can feel themselves O. So doing the OPKs or charting can help. Plus, if you ovulate and don't get pg, you'll get your period 14 days later. So that'll be a sign you O'd!
3. Like you, I VERY rarely ever get my period on my own. You probably won't get your period after taking Clomid unless you ovulated. It could happen, but it sounds like most likely you won't.

Clomid can cause cramping and sore boobs because of all the hormones running through your body, which is really frustrating because you're so on the lookout for any and every possible symptom of pg, but it is also side effects of clomid.

I've done 3 rounds of clomid and only ovulated on one of them Oh, and the one time I did ovulated, it was really late--CD 30!

Thanks for responding and holy cow you O'd on CD 30....how did you know that is when it happened. I guess I will if I O'd becauase AF is due (I guess) on Sun. Ok here is a dumb question...if you O'd on day 30 then you wont get Af until 2 weeks after that correct??? How frustrating for those of us who are not regular and have to go through all this.

Ovulating and AF are so hard to chart it you are not normal. try to look at CM or even just a tiny bit of cramping. For some OPK's work (not for me). You could ask for blood test. Best I can say is good luck
