Hi, I am from the Memphis area and I use Dr. James Wilson with Memphis OBGYN. I have used him for years and I adore him. What he lacks in knowledge of PCOS (but he does know alot) he makes up for in understanding. He has never said anything negative to me about my weight gain and he has seen mine go way up. I am looking for a new endo. Do you have any suggestions?

Penny, thank you so much for the suggestion. I just got a new referral to Dr. Dir-Ghangi. Have you heard anything about him? If he doesn't work out maybe I can see Dr. Wilson. My primary care manager has not referred me to an endo yet even after I requested to be referred. Have you seen any endos in the area?

Hi gals!
I just moved to Memphis last August. I was referred to Dr. Patterson at McDonald-Murman clinic. She is great as well and pretty helpful and she diagnosed me and did real thourough blood work. I am looking for an endo as well if you guys get any leads!

I see Dr Mestemacher ad McDonald Murman Women's Clinic- she is AWESOME. She is actually leaving their practice to start her own in August, but still accepting people. Anyways, I LOVE her. I am moving in a couple months and am sad to leave her- she is always so great with me and my PCOS, and now fertility issues.

Yes, she has been so great through everything- from all the different types of medicines I have been on, if one was bothering me she actually cares, and now through trying to concieve- she is on it. I am really going to be sad about having to go see a new doctor when we move to Oregon- I love her. She also delivered my son (4 1/2 years ago), and she wasn't my doctor at that time, but I switched to her because my doctor left the practice, and I wish I had done it sooner.

Thanks for your input. Do you know where her new office will be? It's almost August and I'm thinking of making an appt with her to see if I like her better.

Hello, I have heard alot about the Doctors at M & M. If that doesn't work out, I still suggest my doctor--Doctor Wilson. I just saw my new endo. Her name is Dr. Williams-Cleve. I had to wait almost 5 months to see her, then I sat in the procedure room for one and half hours before she came in. At that point, I was ready to leave. I am glad that I did not. She did a full head to toe exam and really took her time with me (that it takes so long to get to see her). I have had PCOS for 19 years and she is the first doctor (from ob, fertility, endo, primary, etc.) that has offered help other than glucophage. She even stated that she has helped women get pregnant. I did lab work this week to check to see if I am a canidate for hormone manipulation. I will keep you posted as to how that goes. Good luck in your search!

I finally got my insurance to approve for me to go see the RE. I am only allowed two visits on this referral. I am going to see Dr. Ke next Tuesday. Have any of you heard of him?

I love my new endo. She stated that she has been successfull with several pcos patients (loosing weight, getting pregnant). She called me on vacation from Hawaii to tell me my test results!!! The only negative is that it takes a very long time to get in to see her, howevery she is worth it. I am currently taking a steroid for hormone manipulation. I just started this week so I will let you know how it goes.

How did your appointment go? I am a veterian of Dr. Kee. If you have any questions you can email me at hallumpnk@sbcglobal.net to let me know to look at this website. Put infertility or pcos in the subject box. I hope all is going well.
