Red face Help me with my acne please

I am going to my doctor at the end of the month. I am looking for an acne medicine that will work. I am on a blood pressure med, glucophage (or as many here call it metformin). I am looking for an acne med that will help get it under control with out many side effects with the other meds. If you have a suggestion please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

imo before doing accutane or anything...ask your dr for retin a and a medical facial wash..... accutane is heavy stuff..but since i cant see your face i would recommend trying the easier first..good luck xo jenn

My cystic acne has been so bad that i have gone as far as using the accutane...but i have to tell you...i just recently got a huge flareup but even before that i started using my allouette cosmetics 'visible aid creme'...and that stuff has worked miracles!!!

I mean...my face was almost spasmed from cysts growing on top of eachother and depending on where the pimple was i might even get a headache from it...but that creme was all i had in my med chest and i figured oh well its aloe vera based so it cant hurt...

...it just took the pain away and brought that little sucker to a head in about 2 days!!

I have no scientific proof to back it up but i can sure say its done wonders for me! I started taking it when i was pregnant cuz i didnt want to use anything else...

I think they have a website but i've seen alouette on the informercials lately...i got really into it in college but found my budget wasnt keeping up with my obsession

just thought i'd share...cuz i remember hating the accutane! :p

and if your ttc-ing you cant use it...HTH!
