help me please!!!

hello ladies,
i didn't know where to post it so i thought this would be the perfect spot. Ok i have been married three weeks tommorrow. And my period has not come. I am on yasmin and usually i get my period between 3rd to 5th day of the inactive white pills. Last month however it came like on day two. I only have one more day of the white pills and i still haven't started so i am late. I have never been late since i was on birth control and now i am having sex. So here is my questions and concerns: SInce i was late i went and got a pregancy test and it was negative. But did i take the test to early and that is maybe why it came back negative. I have another one but want to wait for my hubby to get home. He is away on buisness trying to pass a certificaition in order to keep his job so i don't want to stress him out about all this. So i don't know what to do? I don;t have a doctor out here yet (because i moved to a different state and don't have insurance really yet either we are in the process) so i can't get checked out and i am afraid to continue the pills if i am pregnant because my doctor told me it can harm a baby if you take them, but if i don't take the pills and i am not pregnant then i will probly get pregnant when my hubby comes home. you know heheheh! So what should i do. Stop taking them until i do get a doctor "(can take a few weeks) or continue taking them like normal. Any adivce is greatly appreciated. With my hubby gone i am going through this alone and don't know what to do.

I have started on day 6 of the white pills. If you have been taking them faithfully and not missing one. Then you should not be pregnant. But.....there is always a but right....lol Is there a local family planning or birthing center you can go to? Sometimes they give free test.

thankyou for replying, i don';t know if there is a planning or birth center where i could get tested i just moved here and don't even know where everything is i get lost easy. Thankyou again

Ok sweetie. Take a deep breath and don't worry. If the HPT says no and you have been taking your pills faithfully then there is nothing to worry about. I missed my period for 4 months while on BCP. No baby. Just don't stress about it too much and continue taking your meds. PM me if you want to talk more.

thankyou for replying. I am trying to think if i took the pills faithfully and i believe there was one day where i forgot, so that is why i am really worried. We werent planning on having kids for five years, but we always said if i get pregnant then it is the right time for us to have a baby. Another thing i am worried about is when my hubby comes home and i tell him about all this. I am worried that if i turn out to not be pregant that our sex life will change. Like he might have a hard time making love with me becasue we have had our first hmm i wonder if i am pregnant thing. Thankyou ladies again i really appreciate evrything!

you know i ad that issue when i on bcp's because what would happen i would get stressed out and that would mess everything.

Could you it be that your totally stressed out?

Have faith and trust in your husband, i don't think it will change things. Beleive me dh and i have had that many times. We've been married a year on the 13 of this month. I mean we are trying, but it's kinda on hold at this point but it's a welcomed thing if it happends soon.....6 yrs is a long time.....anyways. Trust your husband i don't think that anything thing will change

With the stress of getting married and starting a new (and active!) sex life, it's probably just stress related. Usually missing just one pill is okay--I do it all the time. (But don't tell DF!) If you're still nervous about it, buy another HPT, and if THAT one is negative, I think you're in the clear.

And don't worry about your husband's libido--you're newlyweds, for pete's sake! Honesty is always the best policy, and I'm sure it won't affect his attitude towards sex.

thankyou ladies i am going to take another test tommorrow because tonight is my last white pill. So we will see tommorrow it could be stress or just plain pcos. who knows. I just can't wait until my hubby comes home so i have my support back. You all have been so good to me thankyou again. Whether i am pregnant or not i am happy with it, i is just the not knowing that really bugs me. A very long night tonight! Have a great day ladies

My only advice is to search online for a family planning center in your area. Typically they are free, I would honestly say keep talking your white pills (since they are suppose to only be sugar pills), You may just be late. If you cant find a center to go to within the next week and you still haven't come on then I say stop your pills but don't have sex (which would mean explaining to hubby whats going on).

hello ladies,
Well i got up this morning and the took another HPT and it was negative, but i still haven't started. Ever since i was put on bieth control i never was latee or missed a period, so that is why i am really curious about what is going on. It is such a pain not knowing what is going on with your body. Too bad there isn't like a phone line connect to your body where you could ask whats going on. heheheheh So should i assume i am not pregnant and go ahead and start a new pack tonight? HubBY comes home late tommorrow, so should i wait and talk to him before starting another pack? Also if i quit taking them and it turns out i am not pregenant wen is it safe to start having sex again after starting the pills again. Thankyou ladies for all the advice and encouragement! I really do appreciate everything.

I say if you've taken two separate tests, at two different times, and they both came out negative, AND you only missed one pill, then the probability that you are pregnant is pretty slim. If I were in your position, I would assume I'm not pregnant, and start taking my pills as usual. It's not that uncommon for us PCOSers to skip periods even while on bcps.

But you should probably call a doctor to discuss it, if you're still worried. Maybe there's a women's clinic you can call? Or look in the front of the phone book--the city usually has all kinds of free hotlines.

I just wanted to add that Whenever I was on BCP' (yasmin mainly) @ the 7th month I just wouldnt get Af!!! Not sure why, drs told me it has to do with estrogen??
I would really like to know why??? I stopped taking them months ago.
I just thought it would help if u knew someonelse experienced it!

Kmarie, I know from the Kansas thread that you just moved to KC. If you send me a private message and let me know a more defined area of KC, I will help you find a family planning center that you could go to. Even though it's unlikely that you're pregnant, knowing for sure can take the weight off your shoulders and who knows, when you stop stressing about it, AF might finally decide to come after all. I'm in Lawrence and pretty familiar with the KC area. . .it's only a 35 minute drive.

Hey ladies,
well hubby came home friday night and it is now sunday night. I finally told him, i didn't want him stressing about it because he has to focus on passing a test for his job. Well we went to walmart and bought a different HPT and it turned out to be negative so i am not pregnant. I am kind of depressed because ok we weren't planning on having a baby right now but the thought that i could have been preganat was great. I mean pcos ladies have a difficult time getting pregnant and so i was honestly a little happy at the possibility of being pregnant. The other thing that has me down is sincei am not pregnant that means my body is out of wack. That upsets me because i have been fine since i was put on the pill and then all of the suddent this. Grrrr. I am just so bla right now. My hubby was very suportive and told me that no matter what happens that he would always be here, and that he will always want to make love to me. He said that just because we go through possibility of being pregnant is not going to stop me from making love to you. I love my husband and i am so glad he is home. Thankyou ladies for all the support it really helped. I HOPE you all have a fantastic day!

I just wanted to point out that while it's great that you've tested negative several times, You may want to send a message to Runner Duck. She got pregnant while on Yasmin. I'm not sure how she found out.
