hi i was just diagnosed with pcos, put on birth control, have to have my thyroid ultrasounded, had blood work done am on metforin, along with some antibotics for some infections. Well here is my problem i have now been on birth control goin on three months now and i have had one period it was very very bad the first one i had in five months. Well me and my husband decided to have sex a couple of times and did not really think anything about it due to we are used to having unprotected sex because i felt like i could never get pregnant... well we did twice unprotected, i have lost weight i am now on the medicine i feel better and i am four days late... is there anyway that i am pregnant... i dont think i can ever have babies but i dont understand why i am late.... please help me the best you can...
I don't know how true this is but, when I went to the Dr due to not having a period in 15 months, she asked if I have unprotected sex. I told hubby and I do because I can not get preg because of no periods and she told me you CAN get preg. even if you do not get a period. So before she put me on the med she had to do a test to make sure I was not preg. Good luck to you
if you have lost weight it can help ur body to start working prop! i would test for bubs to be on the safe side!! i hope u get the answer u want and feel free to pm me xx

I was also told by the doctors there was a slight chance to get preg. My OB said its not likely without pills. However she did say that on Met and with some weight loss there is a better chance. I would see your doc.... If you arent maybe they just need to adjust your meds.

When I got pregnant with my first daughter,I was on Meformin for 2 months and lost 20 lbs.
My Doctor said there was no way to know if it was the Met. or the weightloss that helped me to conceive.
Do a test and be sure....it's not impossible!
