Darn, I work in a medical office (medical records) and if I saw the actually report - I could help you more.

Sag = Sagittal plane of the human body that is an imaginary plane that travels vertically from the top to the bottom of the body along the Y axis, dividing it into left and right portions.

Trv = The transverse plane that is an imaginary plane that divides the body into superior and inferior parts. It is perpendicular to the coronal and sagittal planes.

In the report, this most likely refers to the position and measurements of your endo and or uterus. I'm sure you already know these terms (since you are a nursing student )

As for their descriptions of the cysts around and in your ovaries - I can't help you there without actually reading the report....I hope I was atleast able to help you some what....

Do you have the written report or just the imaging? The written reports are pretty much explainitory if you know atleast some medical terms. I wish I could read the report and tell you exactly what's going on - I read them everyday as a part of my job. The best thing to do though is call up your doctor's office and ask what he makes of the results. That would be the best way to find out since none of us can actually read the written report.
