We have been in this apartment for 4 months now. I am always cleaning our kitchen. There is a smell of grease and cigarette smoke coming from under my sink. I know it's the people below us. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?? It's only from under the sink, and that cabinet only. It's so strong that we avoid that room, I've tried, cleaners, sanding the cabinet, everything......
Have you tried opening a box of baking soda/powder, forget which one absorbs smell, but putting that under the sink. Stick all kinds of potporui under there, and other smelly stuff. EW I would hate that. I would ask to be moved to another apartment where the tenants around me did not smoke, say I'm allergic or something. Hope you get it fixed!!!!
Well the baking soda might help but if you can find 'Niloder' it work WONDERS!! You just need to put a drop or too on some paper in there, but sometimes it is really hard to find. If you can't find it look for the 'wizard double action smoke eater' It really helped me... FYI I smoke outside in a porch & when we have guests sometimes they complain about walking through the porch to get in the house.
