Default HELP! Off the Met while sick...

Help! I'm off the Met (1500) since yesterday because I'm sick and I've been running a fever for two-three days. I read that I'm not supposed to take Met if I have a fever, so yesterday I stopped taking it (took it one day with the fever). Today is my second morning without it. I'm feeling light-headed and as though my body practically over night lost all of its water weight. Are there symptoms to look for that are alarming and need a doctor's appointment when someone goes off the Met for a few days? I'm hoping I just didn't drink enough water (which doesn't seem possible with the amount I've been drinking, but maybe a fever can burn up a lot more than I'm guessing).

Any words would be helpful right now because I'm headed out of town this evening and I'd really like to know if I should be concerned about anything since I'm not going to take the Met again for a few days (I want to be completely well and hydrated).

Thanks!

The lightheaded ness could be the flu or it could be your blood sugar ...being off the meds suddenly might make things askew. I would eat small high protien meals often and hydrate well and see how you feel.

Feel better!
