I am going to the doctor today to tell that doctor that we want to try to have a baby. I was diagnosed last nov but have not really researched it or taken action until this week ( and I am freaking out!!) I wanted to know what to ask the doctor about conceiving with PCOS and what meds. What are your suggestion on what to ask

From everything I've read here, conception is totally within the realm of possibility -- check the posts tacked to the top of this board for great questions and concerns to have ready during your visit.

I'm in Austin, too, and not officially dx'ed yet - have my first appt later this month.

Well I went to the doc and I have to wait til next thurs and we will know more from my blood work and such then!! thanks for the replies.

Cyndilou, I am in the round rock area actually. just moved here about a year ago and love it. We moved from Dallas and will probably never leave here!!!
