I'm 16 or 18 dpo and I did a dollar store poas at about noon and i thought i saw a faint line but my dh said he didnt see one !!! Well about an hour later I opened the test up and sure enough there was a faint line and now dh say he saw it!!!! Now I know i shouldn't of looked at it 10 min later but couldnt help my self.Just a thought mayb I should of took it in the morning without drinking all the coffee and water I did??? What do you think ladies feeling very confused now??????
I'd say retest in the AM. Theres really no way of knowing FOR SURE if it's an evap or not. Is there color to the line?

I agree with the PP, retest in the morning. I'm not trying to say you aren't pregnant but the same thing happened to me. I took a test and didn't see anything but then checked again later that afternoon and had a definite second line. Twice this happened but I knew they were evaporating lines and shortly thereafter I got AF. Just saying you should retest and then go by the results you get within the first 10 mins. Retest in the morning, I was a POAS addict and I was testing from 8dpo and kept getting faint lines as the test ($tree as well) was drying. I got so fustrated that on 11dpo I decided to just test with a digital in the evening and sure enought it was a BFP.

Retest. I test with $tree brand too and always get evap lines after 10 mins. I test my trigger out of my system, so I know they are evap lines becaues they never get darker and it's too early for a BFP if I was pg.

I had evaps with $ tree tests in august. I hope yours is a real bfp...test again in the morning and try not to read it after the 10 minute mark! Good luck & baby dust!

I thought I was preggers once, took the Dollar Tree test, had an evap line, FREAKED OUT...then dbf bought me a first response test, and it was negative. I would definitely test again, and with another test..those dollar store tests are tricky!
