Does anyone know why I would need to start Met on cycle day 1? I just came off Provera 7 days ago and AF still hasn't shown up. I'm on CD 50 with no signs that I will start either. Please help

My RE wanted me to start on day 1 too but since I was so close to starting Day 1 I went ahead and started it the day after he gave me the prescription. I asked a question similar to this last week on here and decided to go ahead and take it earlier. It shouldn't be a prob for you to go ahead and start met now.

Hmm..that's odd indeed. Often women need the drug to start cycling, so that's very weird. I would call your Dr and see if he'll reconsider.
