Ok, So switched to an Copper IUD, and in the last couple of months have had two very very light periods (so light I don't think they count).
Over the last month when I have sex, or even just err "see to myself" (sorry TMI) I bleed.
Do you think the buildup of my uterus is being aggravated by the coil and it sheds a bit due to overgrowth?
Or something more sinister? I did have a pap smear a month ago with precancerous cells and HPV cells (double whammy - nice! The Dr wont do anything for another 6 months so not super serious ?)
Any help here would be cool, my Dr is beginning to get sick of me!!

Reason: To give the type of IUD
The problem is I am at university. So the Doctor here only costs me $5.00, whereas if I were to see one outside of uni it would be more like $70.00!!
Unfortunitly these Dr's aren't the best with PCOS. And no one is interested in me going to a specilast as I am not trying to concieve yet *sighs* as if I am fine with a pizza face and a mo!!

Well I am the complete opposite. I bled/spotted for 7 months straight after I got my IUD. I wanted to take it out, but the dr said because of my PCOS to leave it in to 8 months and then see, and I got back to normal periods...for about 3 months. Now there is something else wrong with AF, but thats another story. BUT I also have a bit of spotting and cramping after any "deed" is done and my GYN says its normal due to me not havning any children and a small whoo-ha.
I think it's normal, I had the same thing. I have had mine for nearly 4 months now, and it has settled down, but I'm also on Cerazette pill so I've got lots of breakthrough bleeding, more than with just the IUD. One out of 3 doctors I've seen reckons I should have it taken out, but i don't want to, it's contraception for 5 years, and if I don't get on with the Cerazette after all, I can still be protected. I'm a student too, so I know what it's like having to pay out for stuff, i used to go privately because the waiting list was so long to see a gynae, and it cost me hundreds of pounds, my loans went on it!
