Angry Help!!!!....sex With Pcos????????

Hi guys...

Please, please can someone listen and help me out here....

I have sex with my boyf....well tried to at least...... After about 5mins of actual sex, I started getting really bad pains right at the pit of my stomach...I suppose where my ovaries are..?? We stopped and I just though it would pass, but it got worse and worse, in fact soooo bad that I really did not know what the hell to do with myself, I was stuck in one position and I could not move. My boyf did't know what to do with me, I did't know what to do with me!!!! I can't explain how it felt, kind of shooting pains and aches all over and through that area...??

Thinking back I have always felt a minor discomfort with sex, but nothing and absolutly nothing like this ever before.

I just cried and moaned myself to sleep in the end, the next day I just felt kinda bruised and today it's a little better.

Please, please can anyone help me out with this, anyone felt this kind of pain before????

I would really appreciate some help with this...

Love KJ xxx

That is totally me! I have that too, it sometimes goes all the way up both sides, but I get pain with sex so bad...he always has to be gentle and most of the positions are no longer possible. I don't know how long you go without periods but I found that for a few months after I had a period (waited 13 months for it) it was less painful but as it built up again it got worse. Hope this helps.
hugs

Hi!

Sorry to hear about your problem.

I thought that I had all the symptoms but i have to admit to not having this! I don't seem to get pains in my ovaries, in fact, I had never heard of this problem until recently when I went to a Pilates class and had to fill in my medical history on an information card. When the instructor read it she told me to take regular breaks if I got pains in my ovaries - I thought she was nuts until I read your topic!!

Is pains in the ovaries a common symptom?

Age 30 - textbook case, I've got ALL the symptoms and am getting broody - so believe me I am grateful for my good sense of humour!
Been diagnosed 1993 and have been on dianette since, but, have recently come off due to high BP. Hoping to start Merformin soon.
Would like to hear from any other Scottish Cysters on the subject.

HI!

Don't know how common it is, but it is utterly excruciating! The only thing I have found helps is to lie down curled up with a hot water bottle, and to take paracetamol and ibuprofen (apparently you can do this, bcs they do different jobs) every 2 hours, ie paracetamol at 1000, ibuprofen at 1200, paracetamol again at 1400 etc etc.

I spoke to my GP about it, and his suggestions was that it happened because there was too much stuff going on around my ovaries and uterus etc, and it was all pulling on each other. Not sure how convinced I am on that though!

Just go easy on yourself .... hopefully it won't be a regular thing ....
