Question Help? Should I start clomid?

Quick history:

Two years of fertility treatments
Got pregnant in 06
DS born May 07
Breastfed until Feb 08
Induced AF with Provera in March 08 to do baseline ultrasound

AF came on her own 45 days later (April 08)
AF came on her own 29 days later (end May 08)

I'm not sure if I am o'ing. And DH and I want to have another baby.
I have a prescription for clomid - my doctor gave it to me after we did our baseline because we weren't sure if I would start getting AF on my own after pregnancy.

Should I take the clomid? AF came 2 times on her own. But this most recent one was spotty, and very light. What to do? Take the clomid ? Will it screw my body up if I was ovulating on my own?

If you want to see if you're ovulating on your own before taking the Clomid, then I would suggest using ovulating predictor kits on this next cycle. If you test positive for ovulation, then you know you're ovulating by yourself.
If you decide to take the Clomid, it won't hurt you if you are ovulating on your own. The dr probably prescribed the Clomid just to insure that you'll ovulate. Now, you will have an increased chance of having multiples, but I think twins would be the most you'd have to worry about.

That is something for you are your dr to decide together. You can't decide that, you need to go to your dr and tell them that you are ready to get pregnant and together you can decide on what therapy is right for your body.
