Unhappy Help and some Questions!

Hello.
I'm 17(turning 18 in less than 10 days.)
I don't know if I really have PCOS or not. But the thing is, about a year ago, when I went to do Ultrasound, the doctor said my ovary seemed normal. Yet, it seemed like I am growing hair everywhere on my body...on my tummy, stomach...etc. And my armpit hairs are as thick as the guys....oy...But the hair on my tummy are not very long or obvious, but they definitely have grown more and thicker than before. I can't wear two piece b/c it's definitely noticeable in the sun! I just wonder if this is normal for female...and there are much more thick and long hair growing on the bikini area...ai...both my parents are hairy, so it shouldn't be the genes...
And now acnes are starting to pop out on my forehead.
yeah, I haven't had a normal period in two years.

What do you think? Is it normal for girls to grow hair on their tummy?

Thumbs up

First off..welcome to SC!

Second its really hard to say if it is PCOS or just your "normal" body.

What do you mean by normal periods? Like do you skip months or is it not every 28 days more like 35 or something?...those things make a a difference...or at least my Doc siad they did.

I also know that all people have hair all over their bodies so some hair is normal...I just think there is a line between normal and PCOS hair.

Also there are many cases of women who have PCOS but dont show cysts.

Sorry that whole post was probably not much help...put i hope that gave you some more things to think about.

Best of luck...and pm me if you ever need any thing!
