Hi, my husband is a diabetic, although he hasn't been following a diet. He had blood work today and everything is so far out of wack (blood sugar, triglicerides(sp?) & cholesterol) the doctor commented that he's not sure he's ever seen numbers that bad. DH refused to stay in for a couple of days so I told the doctor I would take care of him, but I don't really know what to do, can anyone help me out with a few sample menus to get me through until he goes to the diabetic clinic to be put on a 'diet'.

Tx - metformin slow release 2000mg. Insulin 5 times a day
