When we lost our dd in jan 2006,the hospital gave me a book called when hello means goodbye & it helped me.It always seems to help when you see that there are others who have had to go thru what you have.It was still hard but between reading that, writing letters to my dd & having my family around me..i made it thru.I still miss her terribly & think of her numerous times throughout my day but i can talk about her now without crumbling into a big ball of tears.

Ended Beginnings, Healing Childbearing losses. It's about everything from infertility to stillbirth. It really helped me because I had been affected by more than one childbearing issue.

Thanks for starting this thread!

I've also heard good things about Ended Beginnings and plan to order a copy. But I haven't read it yet.

I picked up what I could find at Borders, a couple of books about surviving the loss of a child (one called "The Worst Loss" was pretty good) but they are more general with a chapter on Stillbirth and SIDS.
