i've been taking vitex to regulate my periods but my endo suggested birth control pills - does anyone know if one or the other is better?

are you currently ttc?
If you are, I would stay on the vitex.
IF not, you might want to consider the pill.

But other than that, it is mainly the person's personally choice.
Some woman do not like what bcp's do to them and like the vitex instead.

If vitex works for you I'd stick with it. Its supposed to work with your body to help your hormones regulate themselves, while BCPs completely take over and replace your hormones. Symptoms are usually much better controlled with BCP though, that's why doctors always push it, that and to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
