Hi, Three weeks ago I m/c. I guess I am really anxious to start my cycle so we can try again. I was just wondering, do I wait for my body to have a cycle or can I start taking vitex/ and dong quai now? I have never taken it before, but have been doing a lot of research on herbs. And also, for the vitex it says to take 1 tablet three times daily with meals.one tablet contains 660mg , is three tablets a day alot to take?? And the dong quai is 1 tablet three times daily with meals to and it is 300mg per tablet. do I take them as directed or not?
Would it hurt to start them now? or like I already asked, should I wait to see what my body does on its on?

Hi Annie, As I was going through these posts I noticed you got a BFP!!! Congrats!!! I was wondering if you ended up taking herbs right away or if you waited until your first AF showed up?

Thanks for your wishes!!! Nope I didn't end up taking them, I actually never even got an AF, I started charting the day I m/c and I ovulated on day 47, I'm kinda worried that I didn't get a AF , but the doctor said it will be fine, here's hoping.

I just had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to ovulate and just get on with it. I have started Metformin about a week ago and I hope that will help me shorten my cycle. I have a 40-45 day cycle but I do ovulate on my own as I did when I got pregnant. I'm just hoping that my cycle will be back to normal.
Did you count the firts day of bleeding as cycle day one?
Baby Bee, I am so sorry about your loss, I know it's really hard . Yep I counted the first day of full on bleeding as day 1. I wasn't expecting to ovulate, I just wanted to see what my body was doing. Took me almost 7 weeks, but I did it. Best of luck for the future!!!.
