I have been wondering about this for a while now and so I am going to throw this out there and if anyone can answer me this question it will be great. My question is, if they can make a pill for you to take eveyday that mimics your normal hormones and prevents pregancy, then why can't they make a pill for us cysters that do not have a "normal" amount of hormones in our bodies and help cause pregnancy? If my theory doesn't make sense, then feel free to ask me and maybe I can explain some more. Thanks!

The mechanism for 'stopping' pregnancy is pretty straight forward.
In women with PCOS, the mechanisms preventing pregnancy are unclear, and not the same from woman to woman. Because the exact cause of the infertility hasn't been identified, and because it's different from woman to woman, no one 'pill' can be created (yet).

Good point, different women can have problems getting pregnant, for different reasons - just check out the ttc board, there are so many different threads, dealing with different issues.
