I saw Dr Legro when I was first diagnosed back in 2004 at the age of 16. I met with him, he did an ultra sound, prescribed a birth control pill, and that was it. There was never any follow up and I never saw him again. I never really felt like I got much out of that meeting, but it might be different going as an adult who is aware of the problem and knows what questions to ask. The most help that I got from him was actually not even from him; he had some lady observing him that day who was visiting from another office who recommended the low gi diet, which changed my life. I do not think that I would go back to him, but maybe it will be different for you, since your situation is different.
