Hello, as you all probably guesses I am new to the board. I am Amy, 21 years old, I have recently been told by my doctor I have PCOS, (although blood tests have not shown hormone imbalance, excess hair, weight gain, irregular periods etc) just going into have some scans to confirm it next week. I am petrified of being diagnosed properly as I have never had anything wrong with me before.

I was glad when I found this site, the fact I am not alone, is helping me deal with it a bit better, but I am still scared as am still not 100% aware of what this syndrome involves.

So really I am just going to use this site as an aid to help me get through the first few weeks of diagnosis, so hopefully will get to know some of you a little better Then when I am aware of it, hopefully go on and help others!

i was diagonsed about 6 months ago and havnt had a period sense! im on birthcontrol now hoping to get it soon, i want my period!
