I came across a link in one of the threads on here that listed multiple anti-androgens. One of them was Tagamet. Yes, the stuff for heartburn. Is anyone using this for their acne and if so how much are you taking?

I still take it the regular way.

Funny you should mention rubbing it on your face. Last night I got the idea to empty a capsule of amoxicillin and mix it with some Cetaphil lotion to put on my forehead (currently broke out and it hurts). So, I sat down and picked at my face for a bit. Yes, I was squeezing. I know you are not suppose to do that,but I had to.

Then I washed my face and I put the mixture on my forehead and went to bed. I actually could really tell a difference today. I am going to do it again tonight.

I have been taking 200mg of Tagament daily. The one thing I have really noticed is that my oil production is down. My face and my hair have only been the tiniest bit oily. I have also been taking zinc.

Yes, I get the over-the-counter Tagamet.

I normally take Spiro (miracle drug for me), but I have been out for awhile (no insurance).

Let me know how it goes if you try it.
