Default Hey-Lo~

Hey-Lo~

I'm Sherry, merely only twenty-years of age and have somewhat (dealt) with having PCOS since, I was roughly thirteen or so. (surgery and lack of knowledge about PCOS at such a young age is a real Nightmare)

As of yesterday, I came across this particular forum, thus immediately joined and today (obviously) managed to chance upon this particular thread.

Currently, I reside in Gisborne. Beautiful-stunning, warm weather (I might add) previously, I lived in Australia, QLD, Gold Coast for the last few years or so... Yet overall, Aotearoa will always be my passion and a place I can call home.

Honestly, I'll admit, that even now, I'm still quite clueless about PCOS. Not that I'm ignorant, it's merely the fact that its such an overload of information to process.. and in fact its quite emotionally draining and depressing.

I also confess, the word 'Diet' has never existed in my vocabulary. and through out the years, my weight has constantly, soared, sky-rocketed and then plummeted downwards drastically and yet, My appetite/desire for food is practically non-existent and surprisingly enough... the occasional time I do crave something, I have the appetite of a pregnant woman! Weird food-concoctions are my specialty! (Frustrating, absolutely frustrating...)

Once I'm more settled, I plan on looking into BCP.. (twas prescribed when younger, and they were just awful.. Horrid things) So hence, my reluctance..

Anyhow~
Enough of my ramblings.. This purely was meant to be a short-introduction post, (Sweet and straight to the point) obviously, I failed. Oh well...Heh.

Look forward too getting to know each of you a little more~

Hey I'm in Welly as well

For those of you looking for a specialist I saw John Hutton at Fertility Associates, he specialises in PCOS, I found him to be very knowledgeable, & upfront, he was also open to ideas and suggestions from us and took the time to answer any questions I had. I also found the nurses really nice.

I have been told that Hanifa Koya is excellent as well.

I also saw Katrina Gascoyne at the Oriental Clinic (I think its called) in Mana.

Hope this helps
