I just had a look through the calenders I've been using to keep track. I've been on met for 9 months and for the past 5 months AF has shown up. Cycles have ranged from 28-34 days. That is very unusual for me.

Just curious if your AF became regular... as in, how long it's lasting. I'm hoping mine will become normal because that was my biggest problem before the meds. Not only would AF disappear for months at a time, but when she got here, she would stay FOREVER!! Sometimes for up to a month or more. *SHEESH* So the Provera didn't work for me, and I was put on Metformin. 2 days after I started the metformin, AF came. But it's been horrible, I'm just hoping she doesnt over stay her welcome, cause dont get me wrong, I want to be healthy and ovulate and I need AF for that... but OMG, if it's here for too long, I think I'll die!! LOL, my friends say it's because I haven't had to deal with it all along, but this is just HORRIBLE!!!
GL!! BLESSINGS & BABY DUST!!

I literally started Met Yesterday. And I'm hoping so much that it helps with anovulation. We've been TTC for about 4 months. I'm hoping it works because I don't usually get AF but like 3-4 times a year. But when AF comes it stays forever. I hope I can get my symptoms under control with Met and have me a baby!

met is great since i started in decmeber i lost 20lbs in 2 monthes when i wasnt dieting or exercising
Did your doc let you stay on Met. while pregnant? I have head some ladies get the run around from docs if they want to stay on Met. past the 1st trimester. I read recently that Met. is safe for at least part of pregnancy, but I was wondering if docs are changing their minds about later pregnancy.

It's been sort of slow starting, a couple of days just brown spotting and then a light to medium flow for 2 or three days. But I've never had an issue with AF lasting too long, it's always been too short or nothing at all!
