I have 2 horses. I ride daily. I plan to become a US history teacher. i love art and music. in 2006, my PCOS almost killed me [literally]. i was lucky i was 15 and not 20. My period was so heavy that i became very anemic (hemoglobin level was a 2, should have been a 14). I had to get a blood transfusion (4 bags) and spend a week in the hospital on the OB floor. ever since then, my OB/GYN has been trying to come up with a way to manage my PCOS. hopefully mirena is my answer
