Hi, I am new here and have a few questions.

I do not think that I have PCOS , because I have a pituitary tumor and probably will be having surgery to remove it because of cyclical cushings. But, I wanted to try this first before I take the plunge. I am a little high in testosterone and no cysts, regular periods.

A few days ago I started 500 mg glucophage xr.
I am having terrible bone pains and bad pains in my knuckles and on the tops of my feet.

Has anyone experienced this before with starting the medication?
I am trying to figure out if it related to other hormonal issues or the glucophage.

I have no idea if that would be a s/e or not. I looked met up and that is not a s/e that I could find. I would call the dr.

Any odd painthat isn't the norm should be something to call your Dr about, so he can rule if it is the meds or something else entirely.
