Talking Hi All!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Mandee. I'm 20 years old
I was diagnosed with PCOS in September of Last year.
When i was told. I cried...I had read up about it after i had gotten home and seen that it could cause infertility which was my biggest fear.
I was also quite releaved to find out that alot of my problems...were because of this syndrome.

Being 20, it's really hard to accept the fact that I have facial and body hair that i probably shouldnt have. However I am coping

I'm really glad I stumbled upon this forum, because it helps put me at ease to know that, even though i feel alone in this, I now know I am not...

Sorry for such a long introduction
Hope to chat with all of you

Mandee

Hi there! I'm new too :lol nice to meet you I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2.5 years ago and since then it's been a struggle with weight gain, hirsutism, acne, mood swings etc. I completely understand what you mean, when i first found out, the infertility made me cry too and sometimes i still tear up when i think about the different aspects of this condition.

But thank the Lord that i stumbled upon this site like you and believe me there is hope because there are a lot of ladies here who are preggers or have kids and they have PCOS!! That's great to know ain't it?

Well i look forward to seeing you around and i hope you feel better! Welcome once again!

Welcome to SC! I am new to the forum, but have been diagnosed for 10+ years. You will find much information and friendly, helpful cysters.

Good luck to you both!

Thank you everyone!!
Its good to know there is a forum out there that we can go to to relate to people.
I found a picture of a ribbon used for PCOS Awareness and I plan on getting it tattooed in the near future.
I have tattoos already and they all have a meaning
but this will be my life story
haha sorta
