Angela, I am so glad you joined! I laughed when I saw that you are profoundly deaf, no, not because you are deaf, but because I work with the hearing impaired. I am an aide for an aural/oral classroom of Kindergarteners and First Graders.
I wanted to work with HI children when I was a teenager, but went a different direction. Then, God led me back to the path that I was supposed to take and now am doing what I love and excel at.
Friday I have an interview for an office job. I keep praying that this is where God wants me to be because all I want to do is follow His Will. So, please pray for me that God will lead me in the right direction. Either to stay or to leave.
Hi Angela! Welcome to SC - so happy to have you here. I have been a christian for 4 years (I was a little late - but not too late!!) I was 27.
It is so interesting Laural and Angela - both my paternal grandparents were deaf mutes - So I grew up speaking and signing! I must say I have forgotten alot since they passed but want to teach my daughter (who'll be here in about 10 weeks) to sign.
So glad to have another fellow christian on board Angela!

Well, I am 20 and I grew up in church and I have always loved the Lord but I wasnt baptized until I was 13. I am very happy to see Christan Cysters here. . . and I think faith is much needed for us who have this syndrome. I didnt know that I had PSOC until this past November when I began having severe abdominal, pelvic, and back pain. I had a 6 pound ovarian cyst on my left ovary and I lost my ovary and fallopian tube and was diagnosed w/ pcos. Doc told me my chances of concieving with just one ovary and having pcos are slim to none. . . at first, I blamed God. But now I realize that during that time when I was overcome with saddness, He was there weeping with me, and He reminded me that He is the Worker of miracles and there is still hope for a child of my own.

I'm 28, received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior on August 10, 1980. So, I've been a child of God for 23 years. I'm not perfect and have made some stupid decisions (all big stupid decisions in early 20's).
