I was told I had PCOS in 2002, but didn't take it seriously. I guess I just hoped it would go away. Well, 7 years later and it hasn't. The hirsutuism, weight, and possible fert. problems are just getting worse. (I do have a 2 1/2 yrs. old son, so I am not sure how much fertility is an issue-we have been ttc again for the last 5 months)
I took a leap of faith and went to a new doctor today. He gave me a presciption for met. and told me about this site.
I just want to say how much better I feel knowing that there are many other women out there facing the same problem as me. I have kind of isolated myself from friends and family because I have been so embarassed of this condition. Now, at least I can connect with people who understand what I am going through! hat's off to all of us!

Diagnosed with PCOS (technically) when I was 26
TTC ACTIVELY since September 2007
Clomid and timed x6 (no ovulation)
Femara (ovualted 3 follies first time!)
Femara and timed x 5 = BFN
Femara and IUI = BFN
Puregon 75iu - 200iu (for 6 weeks can you beleive that) + ogulutron + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
Puregon 175iu (two weeks) + ovidrel = BFN
Feb 2009 = Begging for IVF dont think IUI is my thing
