hi am kirsty am from Edinburgh in scotland thats in the uk for people that might not know that lol. am 19 and was diagnosied with pcos at the age of 14 after five long years of suffearing with very painful and irregular periods. i started my periods at nine which was a big shock to me and always made me feel different it took five long years of visits to the doctors before i was diagnosed and i was devistated once i realised what pcos was! sorry for talking so much people lol

Your definitely not alone!lol im 18, and got diagnosed when i was 16. I didnt even start my "period" untill i was 15. I emphasize "period" because i hardly even call it a period. I have to take birth control to even have one! it gets rediculous. But im also new to this site, its kind of nice to know there are acutally sites out there just for women with pcos. Hopefully i can make some friends on here who can relate to my lifestyle
