Hi there.. thought i'd get my butt over and say hi ..
I'm a 29 year old western sydney girl just been diagnosed.. Mummy to a beautiful little 2 & 1/2 year old girl Emma.. It was suggested about 12-18 mths ago that PCOS is a big possibility and was supposed to do a series of tests as i'm sure all you girls know about but i never really did anything about till recently..
Dr putting my on BCP and some other drug .. i'm supposed to have a follow up appt and we'll be going in depth about what sort of meds i am going on .. (i'm on anti D's and my dr is going to be consulting with my Psych Dr about how they're going to do it..I'm also on other meds for Crohns so i'll be taking quite a cocktail so they just want to make sure of a few things first.. ) so until then they're not putting me on the BCP and whatever else till they sort out some regime so its safe for me..
Until then i'm on a weight loss and healthy low GI eating crusade.. which isn't going so well since i have a block of chocky sitting on my kitchen bench right now and i had some fairy bread for dinner..

Sounds like you are battling a few health issues at the moment. My father has Crohns and I have seen first hand how debilitating it can be.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and welcome......jump right in and join in the gab fest!!!!
Yay, someone I know that I don't have to "make up a voice for!" Glad you came over to say hi! (not so great that you've been dx'd, but now you know, some things might start to make sense - I know thats what it was like for me in the start)
