Default Hi can anybody tell me what these mean?

Hi all

I went to the endo this morning for my blood test results and this is what i got

Hemaoglobin 13.6
white cell count 6.6
MCV 104.6

TSH 8.25
Free T4 17.6

He thinks i have a thyroid problem and wont treat me for the PCOS until he gets new results, can anybody please tell me what these mean?

Just by seeing your TSH I would say you are HYPOthryoid, your thyroid isn't making enough,they start treating HYPOthryoid these days at 3.0, when I was dignosed as having HYPOthryoid mine was up to 13.40, now its down to .005 and I feel great, I am not sure about the other numbers, ShenaCat on here is VERY knowedgable about TSH, T3, T4, and TFree, give her a holler I am sure she would help you out!!!! I hope your dr starts treating you for Hypothyroidism!!!!

Thanks for your reply, i am going to ask my GP to get the results and start treatment so i dont have to wait 2 months for an appointment. I will give shenacat a PM. Thanks for your help
