I am so glad I found this place. It seems to have amazing resources and amazing people as well. I don't know where to start but I'll dive in and hopefully meet a lot of you!
I have PCOS and was diagnosed back in 2000. Due to situations in life, insurance, location etc., dh and I have gone back and fourth TTC and then taking a break throughout these seven years. I have been through clomid one time, gotten a HSG test (all clear), been on metformin, so I know the long road.
Either way, we know we will be blessed with a baby, either through TTC or adoption so we are very happy with whatever God blesses us with. Right now we are just letting things "happen". Not neccesarily taking a break, but not actively going to the RE or OBGYN to get things started again. My OBGYN is a very optimistic person, although at times I seem to be able to tell him more than he can tell me. I work in a medical office and sadly we have the WORST insurance so we simply can't afford the monthly visits, clomid etc. But 2008 is a new year (duh, lol )and we will start full force then and my OBGYN is ready to start with the clomid again as soon as I say go! Until then I am working full force on my weight. Gotta love it!
